We passionately believe young people are an essential part of the church and want to see you equipped and empowered to FOLLOW JESUS FIRST and NOW!
We currently have the following groups and events, alongside all age church life:
Sunday Youth
(School Years 6-11)
We meet every Sunday during the weekly celebration. After the worship we head to the youth room in No. 9 (next door) for games, snacks, Bible study and time to chat and pray together.

Older Youth
(School Years 10-13)
This is a Life Group style gathering for older teens to encounter Jesus, explore and encourage living out God’s calling, understand the Bible and big questions better together and to spend quality time with friends.
We meet 7pm to 8.30pm on the following Wednesday evenings:

Young Adults & Students
(18+ to 20's)
Alongside the other Encounter Vineyard events and gatherings, we keep in touch to spur each other on wherever we are. We get together – especially in Uni vacations! – to share what God is doing and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.
Youth Events
From seasonal parties to youth weekends away, serving other people to Christian summer festivals, we have a rolling programme of opportunities to spend time with new and old friends, grow in our love for Jesus, find out more about God and what it means to live for him. And to have a lot of fun and laughs along the way!

Youth Pastor
Meet our Youth Pastor Ruth
Ruth is the Youth Pastor here at Encounter Vineyard. She is responsible for ministry with young people from school year 6 to young adults and has been involved in ministry with young people in church, school and community settings since being at school herself. She has a passion for young people to know God’s love for them through Jesus and to be empowered in everything they have been created for. Ruth is married to Dave and, originally from Oxfordshire, first moved to the area when they got married in 2009. She is excited to join Encounter Vineyard having returned to the Cotswolds following ministry and study in Cardiff.
