Welcome to this weekend’s Sunday Online at Encounter Vineyard. If you are here for the first time, a very warm welcome to you after a very cold week! We are so pleased that you have wanted to join us. If you are a part of our regular extended family then welcome back!
This weekend we are drawing our ‘Made for More’ series to a close. In this series we have been reminding ourselves of how we have been made for relationship with God and in today’s message, Mark is looking at the church in Corinth again, as he explores why we need to be in church – broken and messy as it might be!
As we enter into the winter months, we have decided to draw our evening celebrations to a close for this season. These gatherings have offered a gentle space of worship, reflection, prayer, encounter and community — and we’re deeply grateful for all that God has done among us through them. We sense though that this is a natural pause, a time to rest, acknowledge the limited appetite for this, as well as to consider what may be next. We may well revisit these evenings in the future or do something different. We will be listening to the spirit and trying to discern where God is leading in the year ahead.
We hope that you enjoy worshipping and celebrating with us today and we pray that today would be a blessing for us all.
