Happy New Year to you all and welcome to Encounter Vineyard online and our first celebration of 2025

We do hope that you have had a good Christmas and that you have enjoyed some connection with your family and friends, as well as the wider church family.

As we gather back together this weekend, we are so looking forward to continuing to celebrate ‘God with Us’, as we look forward to the beginning of a new year and all that God has in store for us.

This January we begin the year with a series called ‘Here and Now’. This series looks (in particular) at Hebrews 12 and the theme of what it means to ‘run our race.’ Running our race is one of the core metaphors for living a life of purpose and for living a life of faith. This series will take us through to our Lenten series and will include our annual Vision Sunday as well as a pre-Alpha guest celebration next weekend.

Today’s message is called ‘New Year’ as Malcolm Hayes will be reminding us that God is always the God of ‘New Beginnings.’
