Prayer Lessons from the Most Persecuted

Welcome to Sunday Online at Encounter Vineyard. If you’re here for the first time, a very warm welcome to you. We are thrilled that you have wanted to join us this weekend. If you are part of our regular extended family then welcome back!

Today is slightly different for us online as in the morning celebration we have Emma Worrall speaking about prayer lessons from the most persecuted. Emma is the Strategic Opportunities Lead at Open Doors and is based down the road from us in Witney. She has been part of the Open Doors team for many years. Open Doors is an organisation that supports persecuted Christians around the world in the call to follow Jesus courageously. Today’s talk will not be available immediately but will be available online later on today via the homepage of our website.

This evening in our celebration we will have a time of worship and sharing testimonies. For those who want to, it will be an opportunity to share either how we came to faith, how are lives have been transformed by Jesus or how He has worked in our lives through provision or healing.

After a powerful Sunday last weekend, we are excited to be returning to our Revive series next weekend where we are retracing the early steps of the church we belong to as we move towards Pentecost.

We really hope you enjoy worshipping with us this weekend and that you are blessed, strengthened and renewed for the challenges of the week ahead.
