Ruth and Naomi
Today Encounter Kids will be starting a new series called ‘Vibe Check.’
This series is all about how we check our ‘vibe.’ It’s about how we can check our attitudes and actions, to see how they line-up with the attitudes and actions that God wants us to have. We will be looking at lots of different stories in the Bible, where people had good and bad attitudes.
So, let’s enjoy having fun together, worshipping together, learning our Bible verse for the series and discovering how we can have attitudes and actions that reflect God.
Today we’re going to be learning about the importance of guarding our hearts from bitterness and anger by looking at the story of Ruth and Naomi.
We learn about this from Jesus as well as He encourages us to guard our hearts.
