Encounter Vineyard offers Venue Hire for Community Events or Charity Events as part of our community focus, subject to availability.

Insurance Declaration
Encounter Vineyard holds Public Liability insurance for loss or injury. This insurance does not cover the Hirer for loss as a result of his/her own actions or inaction.• For Commercial hirers we will require evidence of the existence of suitable insurance for the activity being carried out on our premises.

• For charitable and not-for-profit organisations or individuals we recommend that the hirer should have adequate insurance in force for all legal liabilities which could arise, including death or personal injury to third parties (including employees and volunteers), damage to Church property or the property of others, arising out of occupation and activities whilst using the premises.

• The Hirer will during the period of the hiring be responsible for supervision of the premises, the fabric and the contents, their care, safety from damage however slight and the behaviour of all persons using the premises whatever their capacity including proper supervision of car-parking arrangements so as to avoid danger to members of the public and obstruction of the public highway.

• For bookings involving children, young people under 18 and vulnerable adults we require the hirer to accept full responsibility for ensuring safety and that appropriate Child Protection Procedures are in place and is observed by all persons on the premises involved with children and young persons under the age of 18 during the course of the event for which the premises have been hired.

• It is a condition of hire that you sign to acknowledge that you accept your responsibility in respect of these conditions.
