Finding Freedom

Te

Welcome to this weekend’s Sunday Online at Encounter Vineyard. We are so pleased that you’ve joined us and we hope that you enjoy being part of our online worshipping community. If we haven’t had the chance to say this to you yet, ‘Happy New Year’ to you!

It has been a joy and delight to begin the New Year with such a precious celebration last Sunday, as we reflected on the theme ‘a New Year, a New You’ and we are now back into the swing of all our regular ministries and activities. Please do check the website or Saturday Contact to see what is happening this coming term.

We are beginning the year with a new series called ‘Rescued.’ This series is reminding us that the story of the Bible is the story of a rescue mission and that God is a Rescuer who meets us in all that overwhelms us, the problems that we can’t solve, the relationships that are broken and the issues that we can’t manage.

Today Mark will be bringing a message called ‘Finding Freedom’ as he explores some of the traps that we fall into and how we can move forward.

Next weekend for our Sunday celebration we have Rosie McNeil coming to speak. She is one of the Associate Pastors of the Vineyard Movement based at Birmingham Vineyard and we look forward to welcoming her and her husband Andrew.

Finally, please don’t forget that we are on a journey of fasting and praying with our movement and that it’s never too late to join in. Please see the link below.

We so look forward to joining with you in the adventure of 2024 and all that the Lord has in store for us!
