Welcome to this weekend’s Sunday Online at Encounter Vineyard. If you are here for the first time, thank you for joining us. We are thrilled that you want to be part of this celebration. If you are a part of our regular extended family then welcome back!
Once again, we want to thank all of you who joined with us at Abbey Terrace last Sunday for the annual Remembrance Sunday service. Yes, it was very wet and cold, but at the same time a real privilege to join with others from the community, different local churches and the British Legion, in an act of worship where we were able to remember and give thanks for all those who have given so much in order for us to enjoy all the freedoms that we have.
This weekend we are back in the building and online as we continue our series ‘Hearts of Gold.’ In this series we have been exploring how generosity is at the very core of the Christian faith. We have been reminding ourselves that Jesus was the One who gave everything for us, so in turn, we are exploring how and why we give our all to Him.
Today in our celebration Malcolm Hayes is bringing a message called ‘Life is uncertain’, as he explores what Jesus has to say to us when we feel as though we have been ‘forgotten by God’ and afraid of the future.
We hope that you enjoy worshipping and celebrating with us today and, we pray that today would be a blessing for us all.
