Thank you for joining us this weekend. If you are here for the first time or part of the regular Encounter Online Community, we are thrilled that you are connected to us and we hope and pray that you enjoy being a part of our latest online offering.

The summer is over, folk have returned from their summer breaks and the new term and season has begun and we are very excited about all that lies ahead of us in the coming months.

This weekend as a nation we are in a period of national mourning as we collectively grieve the death of The Queen, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We are deeply saddened by her passing and cannot imagine a world without her. She was in so many ways our Servant Queen. A light has gone out, but the King she served throughout her life has not changed. Our thoughts go out to the Royal Family at this time and we pray especially for the new King, Charles III.

This weekend we hope you are able to fully enter in to our worship, teaching and ministry. We will be celebrating communion and Mark is beginning a new series called Longing. The series is all about the longing we have in our hearts for things to be as they should be and today’s message is called ‘Place.’
