Welcome to a special Sunday Online at Encounter this weekend. Thank you for joining us. 

This month we are in our annual vision series, called ‘Close Encounters’ where we are looking at some of the early encounters Jesus had with people and the difference He made to their lives. As we do that, we are looking at how that shapes the vision and values of Encounter Vineyard. We are focusing on what it means to encounter Jesus and to follow Him – what it means to live under His Lordship, His reign and His rule. 

As well as looking back and giving thanks for what has been over the last financial year, we are looking forwards and highlighting what we sense the Lord is calling us to, some of the hopes we have for the coming 12 months and how we will need to resource what we are being called to do.

Last Sunday Mark began this series with a message called ‘Encounter with a Fisherman’ and this weekend he brings a message called ‘Encounter with a Prophet.’ Can we encourage you to really engage with this message and then pray about how you can respond to the opportunities and challenges that are before us.
