Encounter Church Winchcombe

We hold Healing Rooms in the main sanctuary of the church from 10.00am – 12.00pm on the fourth Saturday of each month of the year except August and December.

We have a team of trained prayer ministers, who are DBS checked.  They will pray with you in pairs, in private, in faith for healing in the name of Jesus.

When Jesus the perfect spotless lamb of God suffered and died on the cross for us, and rose again, he sacrificed himself for our sin and conquered death, sickness, and disease.

1 Peter 2.24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

We pray in faith in the Name of Jesus for healing and we ask the Holy Spirit to come and help us.

John 16:13-15 But when he, the Spirit of truth (The Holy Spirit), comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father, is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

Healing the sick is something that Jesus instructed his disciples to do, the word disciple means follower and we are followers of Jesus, so we too are following his instructions.

In the Bible we see Jesus is speaking to his disciples and sending them out to minister to the people and he says;

Matt 10 :7-8. “As you go, preach this message: `The kingdom of heaven is near.; heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”

Luke 1:47 For nothing is impossible with God.

Please note We are not medical professionals and are not able to give you any medical advice.  In the event you are fully healed or experience a degree of relief we are unable to advise you about whether you should continue your medication, stop using any type of aid or cease any course of treatment.  For all these things you personally need to seek the Lord for guidance and check for verification of your healing and advice from your medical professionals.

Encounter Vineyard Healing Rooms Testimonies

We believe that it is very important, that we record testimonies of what the Lord has done because we want first and foremost to thank him and give glory to God. We also believe that when we share an accurate testimony / record of what God has done, that the power of heaven is released to do it again. Revelation 19.10b Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Testimonies to follow…..

Please note: We record testimonies anonymously unless the person whose testimony it is, has given their express permission for their name to be given. These testimonies are recorded at the time of prayer, unless further information is provided by the person afterwards.
